Wear It Right
Pure oud oil is concentrated. Lift one drop — two at most onto a fingertip or the wand. This is oil to be measured, not sprayed.
To the pulse points.
Touch it to the warm places — wrists, neck, behind the ears, inside elbow area. Pulse points carry heat, and heat is what lifts oud off the skin and into the air around you.
Let it bloom.
Don't rub — rubbing breaks it. Leave it, and within minutes the oil opens: smoke first, then resin, then a warmth that stays close all day.

Oil is worn; a drop on the skin that lasts the day. The oil is distilled from the wood, concentrated down to its purest form. Most collectors keep both: wood for the home, oil for the self.
Because there's nothing else in the bottle. A perfume is a few percent oud carried in alcohol and other notes.
This is undiluted dehn al oud — it takes kilos of aged agarwood to distill a few millilitres, and no filler stretches it. You're paying for the oud, not the bottle around it.
