OUD MASTER'S NOTES - Philippine Dugga Oud Wood (premium mab09)

The elevated daily. Premium Philippine Duggha crosses into collector territory.

The Premium tier of our Mindanao lot — denser cuts, deeper resin, still carrying that approachable Philippine character. Philippine oud rarely gets graded this carefully; most export moves in bulk. Our distiller separates his best cuts because we asked him to. This is where Philippine wood surprises people.

Grade

Duggha Premium — Deeply fermented, hand-selected Philippine tier

Origin

Mindanao, Southern Philippines

Character

How to Burn It

Light the coal.

Hold a charcoal tab with tongs and light the edge. Wait until it stops sparking and greys over completely — about 2 minutes. A coal that's still black underneath burns the chip too fast and scorches the scent.

One chip. Let it heat.

Place one chip on the hot coal — don't crowd it. Within 90 seconds the resin starts to melt and the room shifts: warmer, slower, older. One chip scents a room. Two scents a home.

Let it fill the room.

Set the burner down and leave it. Move it between rooms or let the smoke settle into fabric and walls. A single chip burns 10-15 minutes — long enough for a prayer, a guest, or a quiet evening.

FAQ's

Everything worth knowing before your first chip hits the coal; origins, grades, delivery, and what makes ours real.

What's the difference between all these wood origins and grades?

Indian oud is bold and barnyard, Malaysian is dark and fermented, Sri Lankan is cool and coastal. Grade is the cut and character of the resin — Salla, Duggha, Char, each burns differently. Every product page names both, so you know exactly what you're getting before you light it.

How long does one chip last, and how do I store the rest?

A single 12g pack gives you several sessions — one chip burns 20–30 minutes and scents a full room. Keep the rest sealed, away from heat and sunlight. Real agarwood doesn't expire; aged properly, the resin only deepens.

Is this real wild oud, or plantation?

Wild.

Every chip is wild-harvested from naturally-infected trees aged 30+ years, graded by hand, and traced to the distiller who sourced it. No plantation wood, no relabelling. If a page says Malaysia, it came from Malaysia.

How fast do you deliver, and is shipping free?

UAE orders arrive in 2-3 business days, free above AED 250.
GCC takes 3–5 days, calculated at checkout.
International ships via DHL Express in 7–10 days.
